Evening at Monastiraki | Athens, Greece
Every time I look at this colorful image of Monastiraki area in Athens, it reminds me how charming the old town of the capital of Greece is, especially at twilight. Moreover, you can notice also the Akropolis and other important buildings there. As you can see on the picture, this neighborhood is crowded with people. One of the reasons is that it’s a major shopping district.
Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens – the heart of the city | Athens, Greece
Among the major landmarks of the city is the Metropolitan Cathedral Of Athens. It’s used for ceremonies of national significance, but also for weddings and funerals of rich people. Completed in 1862, it was necessary to work 20 years and use the marble from 72 demolished churches to build the Cathedral’s walls.
Athens – a romantic sunset seen from the Lycabettus Hill | Athens, Greece
With its 277 meters, Lycabettus Hill is the tallest hill in the capital of Greece. That’s why, when you go at the top, you can see some of the Athens’ most popular monuments – the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium. When you climb the Lycabettus Hill, you will see the charming St. George’s church, built in the 19th century. Best thing is that you could continue enjoying the view on your way down.
Athens – ancient Greek city of marble in a modern world | Athens, Greece
That breath-taking view of the capital and largest city of Greece could touch any heart, I think. At least that happened with me and with all the people around me, who were enchanted by the spectacular panorama of Athens at sunset. This photo was taken from Lycabettus hill while I was waiting for sun to set and shoot photos of Parthenon hill.
Acropolis of Athens – panorama view with Parthenon Temple | Athens, Greece
The Acropolis view was the first one which greet us in Athens. This hill with remains of Parthenon temple is visible from almost every point of the city. The Acropolis of Athens is situated on a rock that rises around 150m above sea level. If you’ve been to the capital of Greece, you know how stunning it is to see it from anywhere, day and night.
Sunset at Prince Felipe Museum of Science | Valencia, Spain
I took this particular image at the Valencia’s City Of Art And Sciences, while the light was mild and delicate. Surprisingly, this remarkable complex has been built in the former bed of the River Turia. It’s not only the Museum of Science you see on the photo, there are also other buildings, related to science and technology, such as the Planetarium; or to nature – like the Oceanographic park, and also to art – as the Opera house.
On focus: the TV Tower of Berlin from Storkower Street | Berlin, Germany
This picture is among the very few ones that really show unusual perspective on Berlin center. Actually, the trick I used for this image was to intentionally brake all the two-thirds or golden ratio rule of photography, and choose to put the TV Tower of Berlin right in the middle. I did that because I really liked the way it stands out of the entire composition.
Winter Fairy Tale In The Trakai Castle | Trakai, Lithuania
The Trakai Island Castle is an unusual place from both historical and architectural point of view. It has been built in the 14th century as a construction with strategic importance. Not only Lithuanians but also people from other nationalities, such as the Karaim community, are part of its history.
Athens Metro – future and past live happily together | Athens, Greece
Do you know another city in which the metro is going right through an archeological park? Me neither. That’s why I tried to capture the amazing mixture of a contemporary technology, operating in a place with ancient history. You could see there artwork, exhibitions, and archeological artefacts, discovered during construction works.
Zaragoza Pilar Sunset | Spain

The moment I saw the El Pilar Basilica at sunset, I was captivated. Its grand Baroque architecture reflected in the Ebro River, creating a scene straight out of a story, but with a distinct Spanish heartbeat. Walking through Zaragoza felt like stepping into a different world. The city’s oriental flair surprised me, yet its charm […]

TV Tower at Night from Park Inn by Radisson | Berlin, Germany
With its 125 meters (410 feet) of height, this is, indisputably, the tallest building in the city. Park Inn by Radisson Berlin is also the tallest hotel in the country. Moreover it offers one of my favorite views existing in a city in Germany. The Hotel has 37 floors and it’s located in the northeastern part of Alexanderplatz, in the central Mitte district.

It was a sunny day in which we were hiking in the mountain, enjoying the beauty of Nature. Then I saw these interesting trees and prepared my equipment for taking pictures. I was all set when I suddenly noticed something strange – it was a cloud that moved away. Then another cloud, and another…
Benijo Beach, Tenerife – a day in paradise
As the most beaches in Tenerife, the sand of Benijo Beach is black. There are also black stones in the water because of its volcanic origin. As you can see on the picture, these natural elements create out-of-the-Earth scenery and thus make Benijo Beach, Tenerife a photographer’s heaven. It’s owned by the city of Taganana, and its length is 300 m (985 ft).
Cloud Forest | Marina Bay, Singapore
During our trip to Singapore we discovered this gem right at the iconic Marina Bay coastline. In the middle of a nature park built on reclaimed land, underneath breathtaking structures made from steel and glass two artificial biotopes have been created. The image shows the 42 meters high artificial mountain as well as the observation path, which offers a breathtaking view of this spectacle of nature.
Mosigkau Palace | Dessau, Germany
Mosigkau palace was finished as a rococo mansion in 1757. The paelac and the garden which surrounds it are part of a union of eight manors and gardens along the river Elbe called the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz. As part of this union, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage since the year 2000.
Skyline | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
During our trip to Asia we were lucky enough to spend a couple of days in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The capital of the country has a lot to offer, but the view from the balcony of the apartment we stayed in, was my favourite by far. Thanks to the small city village of Kampung Baru we had an unspoiled view of the impressive Skyline of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which looked different every time we looked at it.
Main Tower | Frankfurt am Main, Germany
The Main Tower in Frankfurt am Main, Germany was opened in January 2000 and with a height of 200 meters, it is the fourth highest building in Germany. Langkawi Beach from above | Langkawi, Malaysia
During our stay in the fantastic Berjaya Langkawi Resort in Pulau Langkawi, Malaysia I was finally able to take my latest technical gadget for a test-drive: My DJI Phantom 4 drone, which enables me to take pictures from a bird’s-eye view. The picture of the sapphire blue sea and the lush forest, together with the small wooden chalets of the resort prove that I couldn’t have picked a more suitable place – this coastal stretch deserves to be captured from
Government District | Berlin, Germany
The Government District in Berlin, Germany on a rainy evening. I love the strict lines and the very modern and contemporary architectural style. The rain didn’t ruin the picture, instead it added depth to it.
Skyline | Marina Bay, Singapore
The Skyline of Singapore, as seen from the popular Marina Bay, is one of the most distinctive landmarks of this beautiful city. Obviously enough I had to capture this impressive architectural masterpiece. It seems like we also picked the perfect time for our visit, which fell right between the dry and the rain period; this meant that we didn’t have to hassle the typical mist and got to see some breathtaking cloud formations.
Batu Caves | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The limestone caves, Batu Caves, are located to the North of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. The Temple Cave is not only home to a number of different Hindu shrines, but is also the largest cave of the system with a ceiling height of up to 100 metres. The pictures shows one of those incredibly impressive Hindu altars, which is located in the very depth of the cave.
La Monumental | Barcelona, Spain
The arena is located in the iconic district Eixample, where it fills the space of one entire block of houses. It actually was the last bullfighting arena in Catalonia that was commercially used. Today, it is still used for sport events or concerts and can fit up to 25,000 people. It was finished in 1916 and is strongly inspired by Byzantine architecture.
KLCC Park | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
At the bottom of the famous Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia you find the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) Park, which was designed by Roberto Burle Marx and is an absolute must-see when visiting the Malaysian capital. The park area measures about 20 hectares and offers many walkways, playgrounds and picnic areas, but its biggest attraction is the 10,000 m² big man-made lake, Lake Symphony with a 43 meter long bridge spanning across the water.
