Batu Caves | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The limestone caves, Batu Caves, are located to the North of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. The Temple Cave is not only home to a number of different Hindu shrines, but is also the largest cave of the system with a ceiling height of up to 100 metres. KLCC Park | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

At the bottom of the famous Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia you find the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) Park, which was designed by Roberto Burle Marx and is an absolute must-see when visiting the Malaysian capital. The park area measures about 20 hectares and offers many walkways, playgrounds and picnic areas, but its biggest attraction is the 10,000 m² big man-made lake, Lake Symphony with a 43 meter long bridge spanning across the water.

Chalets on Water | Langkawi Island, Malaysia

We were lucky enough to spend eight nights in paradise, in the form of one of the water chalets of the Berjaya Langkawi Resort on Pulau Langkawi off the northwestern coast of Malaysia. From the comfort of the bungalow’s patio I was able to take breathtakingly beautiful pictures. It didn’t matter what direction I looked, there were stunning scenes everywhere. One of them was this cloudy sky over the Langkawi Island, Malaysia which seemed to have caught fire.
