Talk about waking up in paradise. For me, this is it. Overlooking the pool area of the Berjaya Langkawi Resort has been our breakfast view for two weeks in February 2022.
The first thing you need to know about the resort is that it’s massive in size – but never feels crowded. They built the chalets on water or in the rainforest—all with taking down as few trees as possible. Therefore, getting to breakfast took us a 15-20 minute walk through the rainforest. I know, I know, we could have taken the free electric shuttle service. But both Daria and I appreciated these daily walks so much.
Anyways, once we reached the resort lobby, this was the view we had from our breakfast table. In a way, it’s the opposite view of the beach photo I showed you yesterday.
