Standing proudly above the village of Doolin, Doonagore Castle is one of County Clare’s most photogenic landmarks. But when I revisited this photo on my hard drive, I realized it wasn’t the castle alone that made this shot special—it was the unexpected “models” who stole the scene: a group of curious Irish cows.
The Challenge of Photographing Doonagore Castle

As I searched for a good frame, I noticed a group of cows nearby. At first, they simply watched me. Then, as if on cue, they all came closer, lining up at the gate. It felt like they were saying: “Hey, take our picture too!”
