State Mosque of Qatar | Qatar

The Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque or simply the Qatar State Grand Mosque was opened in 2011. The building can accommodate over 30,000 people at once and is Qatar’s largest mosque. During the day, the mosque can be visited outside of prayer times.

However, Nico wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t choose to take photos at sunrise. The Qatar State Mosque’s 93 domes and graceful arches hint at the Arabic architectural style. The marble floors not only add a cooling effect for those praying but are also a graceful element for photographs.

Unfortunately, due to our busy schedule in Doha, we didn’t manage to see the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque during the day. Would you also like to see this photo in the sunshine?
