Do you know why we finally visited the United States? Daria had the chance to study at MIT in Boston / Cambridge, Massachusetts. It’s part of The Lisbon MBA to have an Entrepreneurship class at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Initially, this was planned to take place in 2021. But well. Covid.
Daria had her MIT experience online – which obviously is not the same as being at the Campus in Cambridge. So the MBA class insisted on still getting the whole experience once the Covid situation was under control. And MIT handled this very well by offering to take an additional course in the next two years – presential in Boston.
So, June 2022 was it. Daria finally had the chance to study at MIT. And me… I enjoyed being the husband and having a free hotel room for a week. I explored Boston, explored Cambridge, made a road trip around New England, and had the chance to capture plenty of photos.
On the day I spent on the Cambridge side of the Charles River, I visited both universities, Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For the MIT, it seemed to me that the Great Dome is the most iconic representation of the university. So I decided to spend some time shooting there.
In this photo, I wanted to capture the ample green space around it, which is just so inviting for a picnic between university classes.
