Modern Way | Valencia, Spain

Valencia – what a playground. I had pretty high expectations for the so-called City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias), but they were significantly exceeded. As a photographer with passion for modern architecture, you can’t wish for anything more. In my opinion, Santiago Calatrava has created an absolute masterpiece in his hometown Valencia.

We had only one evening planned for this part of town – unfortunately it turned out to be a mistake. Nevertheless, I was able to get as many photos without prior planning as never before. Not only that the weather was great. You just had to move for 10m and an interesting new angle presented itself, any small change of perspective created new amazing structures.

I’m really happy that I finally have found some time to edit and share the photos from that evening in Valencia with you. There are a few more to come and already now when I’m going through them, I’m dreaming about returning to Spain soon.
