CORação – Colours of the Heart | Solo Exhibition in Salamanca

CORação Salamanca Exhibition featuring colourful travel photography from Spain and Portugal at Biblioteca Torrente Ballester
This April, something special begins in Salamanca. For the first time, my work crosses borders for a solo exhibition beyond Portugal and it feels like a natural step in a journey shaped by this entire peninsula.

Let me introduce you to…

CORação – Colours of the Heart
(Portuguese: cor = colour · coração = heart)

From 17 April to 13 June 2026, the Biblioteca Torrente Ballester hosts a collection of fourteen photographs scenes from across Spain and Portugal, each tied to a single emotion and a carefully chosen colour palette.

If you’ve ever felt like the world is losing its colour becoming quieter, flatter, more distant this project is my response to that feeling. It’s an invitation to slow down and reconnect. Not just with places, but with how they make us feel.

After moving from Berlin to Lisbon in 2019, I found something here that stayed with me: colour isn’t just visual, it’s emotional. It lives in the light, in the streets, in everyday moments. CORação began as a way to capture that and now, bringing it to Salamanca feels like completing a circle across the Iberian Peninsula.

This exhibition marks a personal milestone. After my first solo show at Lisbon Airport, stepping into an international space especially in a city as rich in history and culture as Salamanca means more than I can easily put into words.

If you find yourself in Salamanca over the coming weeks, step inside the Sala de Exposiciones. Take a moment. Let the colours speak.

Admission is free and maybe, just maybe, you’ll see the Peninsula a little differently after.

And if you can’t make it, don’t worry. I’ll be sharing more soon including the stories behind the images and what it took to capture them.

Until then, may CORação bring a bit more colour into your world.
