St. Coloman Church | Schwangau, Germany

It was our first, long road trip when we travelled through Bavaria and Italy. Having a car with us meant that we could reach more remote places, for example, a small baroque Church of St. Coloman in Schwangau, which stood in the middle of a field.

We also visited the famous Neuschwanstein! If you know me and you follow my stream of photos on Instagram from Neuschwanstein, you soon realise that this is not my forte. But taking the road less occupied led us to this beautiful church. There were no tour bus stops and no cars slowing down so we laid our picnic and just enjoyed the setting sun.
