Can you imagine waking up every morning and enjoying this view? The stay in Berjaya Langkawi Resort passed by very quickly. Almost every year that we make our return home, we are reminded of our stay and we miss it dearly. But – we never really know, it may be that one day we take this route again and enjoy this destination.
The entire stay in Berjaya Resort in Langkawi, Malaysia was truly another experience for us. This is a photo of… a bathroom in one of the premiere chalets on the water in Berjaya Resort. I already showed you a balcony from which you also see this jacuzzi, overlooking the surrounding clean and turquoise seawater. Surprise, surprise – we didn’t leave our residence very often…
Picturing this scene for a moment, I formed an interesting concept – I believe that the closer we are to the equator, the more the surrounding colours of nature become evident. The Berjaya Resort was exceptional – in the middle of a jungle and still on the coast, it offered many diverse ways of “living”. On a particular occasion, after dinner at a restaurant, I took my camera out to eternalize this experience of arriving home “on the water” and as you see, it was truly mesmerising.
There are 99 Islands that have created a region called “Langkawi”. It’s one of the biggest tourist destinations in Malaysia, though it is still undiscovered in comparison to Phuket, the capital of Thailand which is nearby. The “Langkawi Island Resort” was located partly on the coast and partly in the rainforest. We could in effect, leave our balcony on the turquoise water, close the door to our house and still be in the middle of the jungle with all its wild-life!
During our stay in the heavenly Berjaya Langkawi Resort on the Malaysian Island Langkawi, I decided to give the impressive art of astrophotography a go and it seems I couldn’t have picked a more beautiful night for my first try. When looking at the image afterwards, I was especially surprised and fascinated by the illuminated purple firmament, which gave a certain magical feel to starry night sky.
We were lucky enough to spend eight nights in paradise, in the form of one of the water chalets of the Berjaya Langkawi Resort on Pulau Langkawi off the northwestern coast of Malaysia. From the comfort of the bungalow’s patio I was able to take breathtakingly beautiful pictures. It didn’t matter what direction I looked, there were stunning scenes everywhere. One of them was this cloudy sky over the Langkawi Island, Malaysia which seemed to have caught fire.
