Marina Bay at sunrise | Singapore

The best view of the Singapore Bay is not from the famous Marina Bay Hotel as some would guess, but from the skyscrapers surrounding the bay itself.

Perfect spot to capture the bay

To have the perfect portrayal of this area, you will need to examine the Marina Bay Hotel and its unique architecture from the right perspective. This was the reason why we did not try the infamous infinity pool on top of the hotel, but rather we rented an Airbnb apartment nearby. The skyscraper where we stayed displayed a beautiful landscape on the last floor, which was a perfect spot to capture the bay.

This photo was taken during our last day in Singapore before we returned to Berlin. Before leaving the apartment, I grabbed my camera, ran up the stairs and shot the sun rising from the Marina Bay Hotel rear side. It was the perfect view!

During our stay, we strolled several times through the Marina Bay which is a 360-hectare extension to the Business Centre. I have to say though, that this was the best view I had from this small balcony. I could perfectly capture the elegance of the lines of the hotel, together with the port behind.
