Berliner Mauer – The Berlin Wall | Germany

Have you ever wondered what freedom means? The East Side Gallery in Berlin always gives a great reminder.

I processed this photo after returning from Nicosia – a city still divided by a wall. And thanks to God, Berlin stands as a work of art, displaying history in its unique public gallery.

The Berlin Wall is a deep memory. I was told many stories of my parents and grandparents who lived in West Berlin who were greatly affected by shared cities, different politics and different mindsets. I, on the other hand, was born after the Wall became a memorial. In our modern day, it has now become a piece of history that allows visitors to walk by, to remain on the East side and within a moment – pass freely on the West side.

I guess my generation is very lucky.
