A Pena-palota a Sintra-hegységben | Portugália

Először is, a palotát rendkívül élénk színek jellemzik.

A palota állítólag II. Lajos német király Neuschwanstein kastélyától ihletett, amely Walt Disney Disneyland-i kastélyának is inspirációja volt. Mindkét kastélyt a 19. századi romantika stílusában tervezték. Ahogy egyes források állítják, minél konzervatívabbak voltak a sintrai helyiek, annál szkeptikusabbak voltak a kastély „új” arculatával kapcsolatban.

Érdekesség: A Pena-kastély vörös tornya hasonlít a Belém-toronyra.

  1. I apologise for my question but how could the Pena Palace (built from 1836 till 1854) have been inspired by the Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria (built from 1869 till 1892) if this one was built well after the Pena Palace? Is there any kind of esoteric rationale (inspiration) behind your afirmation? I’m just curious to know the reason behind a claim that is beyond any kind of historical or common sense.

    1. It says that neuschwanstein castle was inspired by Peña castle. Not that Peña castle was inspired by neuschwanstein.

      1. Dear Jose,

You are absolutely correct. What one little word can do to change the hole sentence. It has been corrected. Thank you for reading my blog!
