When we arrived in New York, I quickly missed some nature. Yes, there is Central Park, but not from everywhere that’s quick to reach. In
The Palace was constructed in years 1890-1897 in neo-baroque style. It became worldwide known for the story of “White Rose”. Justizpalast is today a home for Bavarian Department of Justice and the District Court I of Munich.
Ever wondered what a bugloss is? A bugloss is a plant that is widespread on the island of Tenerife, in Spain. It usually grows up to approximately 3 meters in height and you can see it on Las Cañadas del Teide. I have always wanted to see them bloom in an inflamed red shade.
When constructed in 1904, the building was simply called the “National Theatre” in Sofia. The Teide Observatory is located exactly 2,390 meters over sea level. Getting the right conditions at Teide in Tenerife can be very tricky. This is due to the fact that on sea level, you actually have no idea how it is up there. The best way is to check the webcam on the observatory, and if it looks good – you can get into your car and drive up to more than 2000m above sea level.
We were passing the London Tower Bridge early in the morning, when we realised that the Tower was closed due to traffic. It became known to us that on this particular day, there was a marathon taking place and the city was preparing for it. The Tower Bridge was still enlightened with the soft warm morning sun. And you don’t typically get such shots when there is traffic.
