Daytime picture of a beautiful cobbled street at Prague Malá Strana.

Malá Strana Alley | Prague, Czech Republic

Tourists from around the globe visit Prague Old Town, attracted by its well-preserved historic sights. When you cross the Charles bridge though, you will find yourself in a bit different world. Malá Strana is known for colorful streets and cozy cafés. However, it is also a place with ornamental buildings in which are embassies.

A beautiful photo that shows the vivid Monastiraki Square in Athens at night.

The Monastiraki Square at night | Athens, Greece

Same as the colossal metropolis New York, Athens also is a city that never sleeps. Looking at this colorful photo, I remember how fascinated I was, watching a city so ancient, living to the fullest every time of the day and night! Enjoying the bright coloring of that image, I hope to go back to the charming capital of Greece, to the vivid Monastiraki Square, full of life, laughter and delicious food.

View from Prague Castle Gate, Czech Republic at sunrise in the early morning hours

Prague Castle Gate | Czech Republic

During our last stay in Prague I decided to make my way to Prague Castle, which was built in the 9th century as the largest ancient castle in the world, before any day trippers would be there in order to capture it in the golden light of the shy morning sun. I love to get my camera out before the day dawns and watch the world slowly wake up – to me this is very special.

The main street Stradun and bell tower in Dubrovnik, Croatia at night

Dubrovnik at night | Dubrovnik, Croatia

To be precise, the title should read: Dubrovnik in the very early morning because this picture was taken at exactly 4:58 am on a morning during the summer. Even at that hour of the day, you meet quite a few tourists on their way into another eventful day of their holiday. This is probably due to the high number of cruise ships which stop in the harbor of Dubrovnik.

ICC Berlin and Radio Tower

Bye, Bye Berlin!

No, don’t worry, I’m not going to leave this city anytime soon. But the combination of backlights, the ICC and the Radio Tower always reminds me of trips I’ve taken outside of Berlin. Whether by car along the highway or via coach from the central bus station around the corner – often the trip started here on the western end of Berlin.
