I wanted to capture such image of Kotor, Montenegro since 2015, when I first saw an Elia Locardi’s view of Kotor Bay, which impressed me very much.

If you live in Berlin like I do, then you may know that it’s not easy to reach Kotor from the capital of Germany. This destination is not on our way and it would be a trip too long and inconvenient for us. So, if you want to visit Kotor, first secure your transport.
New Year in Kotor
How did our opportunity to travel to Kotor appear? Initially, we decided to spend the New Year Eve with friends in Podgorica – the capital of Montenegro. Then we realized that if we delay a bit our return to Berlin, we could finally manage to visit Kotor. Quick plan re-arrangement and that’s how, on Day 2 of our stay there, I fulfilled my dream about shooting a Kotor panorama photo.
Why choose this Adriatic Sea port for a holiday or vacation? Probably because of the nature – you have the Kotor Bay, surrounded by mountains which height ranges from 1000m to 1700m. Additionally, those of you, who like medieval culture and history, would really appreciate the well-preserved Kotor Old Town and the Fortifications.
