Verona is such a beautiful Italian city. Founded more than 2500 years ago, Verona is a sleeping beauty, crowded with masses of tourists worldwide. That’s why I enjoy the photos now even more, as they display Verona in a calm way, much calmer than the actual stay there has been.
The church in the background is called San Giorgio in Braida and is one of many in this old city.
We’ve spent only a single day in Verona before taking the train back to Lago di Garda – but this one day was enough to get plenty of photos. The light on that day was so special, a mix of slight haze and sunlight, that just works so extraordinarily well for photography.
