Vineyard | Tuscany, Italy

,

Tuscany is best known for the Italian Renaissance, its cuisine and landscapes. In my opinion though, it is mostly known for the production of the popular – Chianti and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino and many other wine varieties that have its origins in this Italian region. How many of the wines from Tuscany do you know? Yes, exactly – this is why before leaving the Tuscan valleys, I just had to capture a photo of the vineyards.

Tuscany is best experienced via a car journey. It becomes a real pleasure to drive through the hilly roads, the stops to see the landscape that is covered by the wine trees, over the hills atop with a typical villa in old Tuscan style architecture.

This photo was taken at a vineyard nearby San Gimignano. As Tuscany is mostly known for red wines, the area around this medieval town is known for the cultivating of Vernaccia grapes, from which white wine is produced.

Make sure you try this when you visit this region!
