When we were visiting Florence in the summer there were year’s record high temperatures. The days we were spending inside air-conditioned rooms and only early mornings and evenings were for us the time to discover the capital of Tuscany.

So when you looked on the Florence panorama from Piazzale Michelangelo during the sunset you would have the impression that a sandy glow is raising from the city.
