Following our walk through the stunning Giewont panorama, we continued into Strążyska Valley in Zakopane, where I shot further pictures of this incredible Dolina Strążyska in Zakopane. Most of the time, it was hard to see the sun because of the thick forest, but when it did, the view was breathtaking. Initially, we encountered a well-traveled route. It felt different from when I visited comparable pathways in the summer, when it was almost hard to get a clear image due to the throng. Now that it was winter, there were a lot fewer people about, so I could take in the environment completely. The way the sunshine streamed through the trees and formed lines of shadow that all flowed down the walkway into the sun then captured my attention.
We came to a wooden bridge a little further on, and I paused once again to take another picture.
A Beautiful Path Through the Valley of Strążyska
Located close to Zakopane in the center of the Tatra Mountains, Strążyska Valley is a well-liked and easily accessible trekking destination. The valley provides an immersive experience whether you’re searching for a cool summer hike or a serene winter stroll.
There is parking provided, and the entrance is easily accessible by private vehicle or public transit. Before starting their tour, visitors must buy an admittance ticket at the booth.
The trail’s first section is appropriate for hikers of all ages because it is comparatively level. Before arriving at Strążyska Clearing, a great place to pause with a tea house serving hot beverages, hikers will cross Młyniska Clearing and the Jelinka Boulder area.
Continuing the Adventure
Strążyska Valley provides access to other amazing routes for those who want to prolong their journey. For hikers with more experience, the red-marked route leads to the ascent of Giewont, which leads to Grzybowiec Pass. On the other hand, the picturesque Ścieżka nad Reglami (Path Above the Regle) provides stunning sweeping views of Krokiew, Zakopane, and the neighboring summits.
