Malmö – Turning Torso -torni | Ruotsi

Ruotsin Malmössä sijaitseva Turning Torso on uusfuturistinen pilvenpiirtäjä ja Skandinavian korkein rakennus. Se on myös maailman ensimmäinen ”kiertynyt” rakennus. Aika paljon superlatiiveja yhdelle rakennukselle Ruotsin Malmössä.

Tämä näkymä Turning Torsosta avautuu Öresundin sillalta. Tästä näkökulmasta voi verrata Malmön muiden rakennusten korkeuksia. Öresundin rannikolla taivaisiin kohoava Turning Torso näyttää (positiivisessa mielessä) jättimäiseltä. Alkuperäisestä suunnittelustaan Turning Torso voitti Gold Emporis Skyscraper Award -palkinnon vuonna 2005 sekä Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat -järjestön 10 Year Award -palkinnon vuonna 2015.

Turning Torso kohoaa 190 metriä merenpinnan yläpuolelle, ja siinä on 54 kerrosta ja 147 asuntoa. 49. kerroksessa on yleisölle avoin näköalatasanne. Kerroksissa 50–52 sijaitsevat yksityisklubi, tapahtumatila, vastaanotto ja ravintola. Ja kuka ei haluaisi asua täällä edes lyhyen aikaa?
