When you visit the Old City of Wroclaw you will discover many historical buildings and cultural treasures as well as a buzzing nightlife. One of my favourite pieces of architecture is the Tumski-Bridge. Every time we are in Wroclaw we take a walk to the so-called „Cathedral Island“, for which this beautiful bridge has to be crossed.
The back of the Cathedral in Wroclaw, also known as the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which was built between 1244 and 1341. Nowadays it is one of the most important historic buildings in the fourth largest city of Poland. Its two illuminated church spires ascend above the dome like two needles.
