Iglesia De La Concepción | San Cristóbal De La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain

It is noteworthy that San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the previous capital of Tenerife differs distinctly from Santa Cruz. In our opinion, it is a much calmer environment, a little more historic and is a more popular destination for students. The remarkable thing is that these cities have buildings that are still identical to one other. Iglesia de la Concepción (Church of the Immaculate Conception) is almost alike to the tower of the Church of the Conception in Santa Cruz.

Gefion Fountain | Copenhagen, Denmark

Gefion Fountain | Copenhagen, Denmark

The wishing well is officially the biggest monument in Copenhagen and tells a story about the country’s mythology with its sculptures. The Fountain shows a scene, in which the Aesir Damsel Gefion cuts a trench in between the Island of Zealand and Sweden with her plow, which is led by her three sons who had been turned into bulls. She cuts Zealand off the mainland forever and created the biggest Island in Denmark.

Dubrovnik’s towers | Dubrovnik, Croatia

The famous wall of Dubrovnik is the ideal place to enjoy some incredible views high above the red slatted roofs of the UNESCO world heritage city. While I looked around, this unique skyline caught my eye immediately. To me, those towers and domes, whose outline pierce against the turquoise blue Mediterranean Sea is a unique sight and I doubt you will find this anywhere else in the world but in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik.

Plaza de la Virgen | Valencia, Spain

Plaza de la Virgen | Valencia, Spain

When we reached the Plaza de la Virgen, a traditional gathering place in the center of Valencia, I knew where I wanted to be for the dawn. I memorized the way and went early in the morning in direction of the central square in the old town of Valencia. Actually, I could just follow my nose and was not surprised to encounter many drunken bodies on the Plaza de la Virgen.
