Du k\u00e4nner f\u00f6rmodligen redan till formen p\u00e5 denna byggnad om du n\u00e5gonsin har sett artiklar som uppmuntrar dig att bes\u00f6ka <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/sv\/travelqatar\/\">Qatars<\/a> huvudstad &#8211; Doha. Inte undra p\u00e5 det &#8211; arkitekturen i denna byggnad, som kombinerar element fr\u00e5n gammal islamisk arkitektur och modern geometrisk design, \u00e5terspeglar platsens anda p\u00e5 ett mycket lyckat s\u00e4tt.  <\/p><p>Precis som m\u00e5nga andra sev\u00e4rdheter i Doha \u00e4r Museum of Islamic Art en ganska modern byggnad. Museet i Doha \u00f6ppnade sina d\u00f6rrar f\u00f6r allm\u00e4nheten f\u00f6rst i december 2008. Om vi inte visste detta skulle vi f\u00f6rmodligen tro att MIA st\u00e5r kvar p\u00e5 Corniche-kusten i \u00e5tminstone n\u00e5gra decennier till. \u00c4ven om museet i sig ser nytt och v\u00e4lsk\u00f6tt ut, kan de traditionella islamiska elementen d\u00f6lja monumentets verkliga \u00e5lder.   <\/p><p>Arkitekten f\u00f6r Museum of Islamic Art anlitades f\u00f6r detta projekt n\u00e4r han redan var pensionerad. Faktum \u00e4r att I.M. Pei var 91 \u00e5r gammal vid den tidpunkten. Efter att ha p\u00e5b\u00f6rjat utformningen av denna struktur b\u00f6rjade han resa i 6 m\u00e5nader i arabl\u00e4nderna. Under denna tid f\u00f6rdjupade han sig i islamisk historia och texter p\u00e5 jakt efter inspiration till sitt arbete. Ibn Tulun-mosk\u00e9n i Kairo, som har anor fr\u00e5n 800-talet, hade d\u00e4rf\u00f6r det st\u00f6rsta inflytandet p\u00e5 MIA:s slutliga arkitektur.    <\/p><p>Museum of Islamic Art <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mia.org.qa\/en\/about\/the-museum-building\">ligger p\u00e5 en konstgjord \u00f6 n\u00e4ra Qatars traditionella dhow-hamn<\/a>. Tyv\u00e4rr fick vi inte bes\u00f6ka sj\u00e4lva museet under v\u00e5r vistelse i Doha, men vi fick beundra dess arkitektur fr\u00e5n vattnet vid olika tidpunkter p\u00e5 dagen och natten.<\/p><h3>Om fotot<\/h3><p><em>&#8220;De flesta foton du hittar \u00e4r tagna mot ing\u00e5ngen.
