Hoje em dia, ela domina a linha do horizonte de <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/travel\/florence-italy\/\">Floren\u00e7a <\/a>e deixa-te maravilhado com a forma como esta estrutura resistiu ao passar dos s\u00e9culos.<\/p>\n<h2><em>Bas\u00edlica Catedral de S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o de Floren\u00e7a<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><em>A Catedral de Floren\u00e7a,<\/em> ou o nome oficial <em>\u00abCattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore\u00bb,<\/em> \u00e9 <strong><u>A<\/u><\/strong> principal atra\u00e7\u00e3o de <em>Floren\u00e7a<a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/travel\/italia\/\">, It\u00e1lia<\/a><\/em>. A Catedral, juntamente com o <em>Batist\u00e9rio<\/em> e <em>o Campanile de Giotto<\/em>, que se erguem pr\u00f3ximos uns dos outros, s\u00e3o considerados <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/fotos\/tag\/unesco-pt-pt\/\">Patrim\u00f3nio Mundial da<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/fotos\/tag\/unesco-pt-pt\/\">UNESCO<\/a>. Nenhuma <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/travel\/toscana\/\">viagem \u00e0 Toscana<\/a> estaria completa sem uma visita.<\/p>\n<p>A constru\u00e7\u00e3o da Catedral foi aprovada pela C\u00e2mara Municipal em 1294, quando a anterior <em>Bas\u00edlica Catedral de S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o de Floren\u00e7a <\/em>j\u00e1 n\u00e3o dava resposta \u00e0 crescente popula\u00e7\u00e3o de <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/category\/hdr-photos\/italy\/florence\/\"><em>Floren\u00e7a<\/em><\/a>. O projeto foi criado pelo mesmo arquiteto do <em>Palazzo<\/em> <em>Vecchio<\/em> e <em>da Bas\u00edlica de Santa Croce<\/em> \u2014 <em>Arnolfo di Cambio.<\/em> Previa uma c\u00fapula octogonal \u2014 esse sonho s\u00f3 se tornou realidade em 1418, quando <em>Filippo<\/em> <em>Brunelleschi<\/em> venceu o concurso de arquitetura para projetar e executar a constru\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Hoje, estamos habituados a ver <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/fotos\/tag\/catedral\/\">c\u00fapulas<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/pt-pt\/fotos\/tag\/catedral\/\"><em>de catedrais<\/em><\/a> nas cidades mais conhecidas, mas, no s\u00e9culo XV, era algo quase inimagin\u00e1vel construir uma estrutura dessas sem colocar em risco as pessoas que rezariam debaixo dela. Uma estrutura daquele tamanho parecia quase imposs\u00edvel de construir, mas o g\u00e9nio <em>de Brunelleschi<\/em> conseguiu erguer a maior c\u00fapula que o mundo j\u00e1 tinha visto e, naquela \u00e9poca, a estrutura foi feita com uma cobertura de dupla camada, sustentada por pilares robustos e, como resultado, a c\u00fapula mant\u00e9m-se firme at\u00e9 hoje.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Durante muitas d\u00e9cadas ap\u00f3s a cria\u00e7\u00e3o do Duomo de Floren\u00e7a no s\u00e9culo XIII, a Catedral de Floren\u00e7a foi inaugurada, e foi necess\u00e1ria a mente genial de Filippo Brunelleschi para descobrir exatamente como construir a c\u00fapula, a primeira do seu g\u00e9nero no s\u00e9culo XV.
