This bee by Bordalo II is not difficult to find. There are more of these sculptures with various other animals in Lisbon and some are more challenging to find. If you’re a street art lover, I can only recommend that you wander around Lisbon to find more of these beauties.

Cantina restaurant in Lisbon’s LX Factory; Portugal

LX Factory Cantina | Lisbon, Portugal

LX Factory is like a separated small city in Lisbon. It is an old industrial part of the capital which was transformed during the late 90’s to a modern art site. In our day, it has become a paradise for street photographers and store owners who do not like the traditional concepts of commerce and restaurants with a typical style.

Historical Lisbon tram in Alfama, Portugal.

Tram in Alfama | Lisbon, Portugal

Who hasn’t seen any photos of a Lisbon Tram passing through the narrow streets of Alfama? I think it’s one of the popular icons in the capital of Portugal, much like the bikes are for Amsterdam.

The Bica Funicular in Lisbon on a sunny day, Portugal.

The Bica Funicular | Lisbon, Portugal

It is not only the Bica Funicular that makes this location so picturesque. The traditional yellow tram perfectly blends into the joyful homes of the Pombaline downtown of Lisbon, which dates back to 18th century. The view is accompanied by the beautiful turquoise water of the Tagus River down the street. It is definitely one of my favorite places in Lisbon!

Berliner Mauer – The Berlin Wall during the night.

Berliner Mauer – The Berlin Wall | Germany

Have you ever wondered what freedom means? The East Side Gallery in Berlin always gives a great reminder. In our modern day, it has now become a piece of history that allows visitors to walk by, to remain on the East side and within a moment – pass freely on the West side. I guess my generation is very lucky.

Ledra Street and Onasagorou Street are the beating hearts of Nicosia – the capital of Cyprus. A typical area filled with visitors ready to enjoy some Meze, during the early hours of the morning provided a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. If you would like to see this area at its quietest along with its dream-like surroundings, be sure to visit around sunrise.

Széchenyi Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary at Night with fog over the Danube River

Széchenyi Chain Bridge | Budapest, Hungary

The Chain Bridge is one of the most famous buildings in Budapest. The original bridge was built between 1839 and 1849, after the Hungarian Earl Széchenyi encouraged the design and construction of same. It was the only connection between the two cities Buda and Pest, which have been separated by the Danube up until then. The Széchenyi Chain Bridge quickly became one of the busiest roads and over the years has been extended and equipped for the ever-growing volume of traffic.

Tourists from around the globe visit Prague Old Town, attracted by its well-preserved historic sights. When you cross the Charles bridge though, you will find yourself in a bit different world. Malá Strana is known for colorful streets and cozy cafés. However, it is also a place with ornamental buildings in which are embassies.
