Porto City Centre, clear sky and the Porto sign; Portugal

City Centre with Porto sign | Porto, Portugal

This sign was placed just in front of the Portuguese Centre of Photography, which gave the image a very special meaning. This winter morning before the sunrise, was a perfect time to capture the installation in Porto city centre, which during the day would usually be very packed.

Skyline of Kuala Lumpur with Kampung Baru, Malaysia on a sunny day

Skyline | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

During our trip to Asia we were lucky enough to spend a couple of days in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The capital of the country has a lot to offer, but the view from the balcony of the apartment we stayed in, was my favourite by far. Thanks to the small city village of Kampung Baru we had an unspoiled view of the impressive Skyline of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which looked different every time we looked at it.

Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark at sunset. The colorful gabled houses during a summers evening

Nyhavn | Copenhagen, Denmark

Originally the branch canal Nyhavn was trenched in 1673 to connect the marketplace Kongens Nytorv to the busy port of Copenhagen in order to boost the trade. Even though Nyhavn never went on to be a big port, due to its limited size and capacity it still led to a lot of businessmen settling down along the promenade. The typical colorful gabled houses were mostly built in the 18th and 19th century and are one of the most important sights in the Danish capital today.
