Jak można się spodziewać, zdjęcie jest mieszanką planowania i szczęścia.

Podczas gdy scena sama w sobie jest całkiem taka, jak ją zaplanowałem, taksówka na zdjęciu jest dość przypadkowa. Rosenthaler Platz w centrum Berlina to bardzo ruchliwy węzeł komunikacyjny łączący 5 lub 6 ulic i kilka szyn tramwajowych.

Najpierw planowałem oświecić skrzyżowanie lekkimi szlakami, gdy nagle taksówka musiała się zatrzymać na pełną ekspozycję (6 sekund). Postanowiłem więc zbudować zdjęcie wokół taksówki, a następnie dodać szlaki z innych ekspozycji.
