St. Kinga’s Chapel | Wieliczka, Poland

The Wieliczka Salt Mine and especially the St. Kinga’s Chapel 101m below ground level are exceptional. A huge room (465m² and 11m high) so deep underground, enlightened by chandeliers and ornamented with numerous pieces of art. But the most impressive for me was the several hundred years old altar made from salt.

Rafting on Adige | Verona, Italy

I was a bit baffled when I crossed the Castel Vecchio Bridge (Ponte di Castel Vecchio or Ponte Scaligero) and saw rubber rafts on the Adige. Rafting in the middle of the city? It seems possible in Verona and is certainly also an interesting way to discover the town from a different angle.
