The pier (Molo) in Sopot is with more than 500m the longest wooden pier in Europe. If you’re not a resident of the small town you always have to pay a little fee to enter, but anyways it was always very crowded there.
This beauty is over 100 years old. It was built in Hamburg in 1909. For many years the Dar Pomorza was used as a training ship and today you can still see it in the port of Gdynia where it serves as a Museum ship.
Gdańsk is such a magnificent town and with all the water around one can surely get the idea to go fishing in Gdańsk. I was very lucky with the weather. The clouds caused a great sunset but no ten minutes later it started pouring. But in other ways as well, it is impossible to capture this scene a second time.
