Milano Bosco Verticale (“Vertical Forest”) in Italy.

Bosco Verticale | Milan, Italy

The Bosco Verticale – “The Vertical Forest” was one of the most unique buildings I had ever seen in Milan. There were 900 trees, 5,000 shrubs and 11,000 floral plants that had been imbedded against the two towers. The towers were built in this style, to reduce smog and increase oxygen levels.

La Monumental bullring in Barcelona, Spain

La Monumental | Barcelona, Spain

The arena is located in the iconic district Eixample, where it fills the space of one entire block of houses. It actually was the last bullfighting arena in Catalonia that was commercially used. Today, it is still used for sport events or concerts and can fit up to 25,000 people. It was finished in 1916 and is strongly inspired by Byzantine architecture.

View from Prague Castle Gate, Czech Republic at sunrise in the early morning hours

Prague Castle Gate | Czech Republic

During our last stay in Prague I decided to make my way to Prague Castle, which was built in the 9th century as the largest ancient castle in the world, before any day trippers would be there in order to capture it in the golden light of the shy morning sun. I love to get my camera out before the day dawns and watch the world slowly wake up – to me this is very special.
