The View on Top | Sinaia, Romania

The funicular to the “Cota 1400” station in the Bucegi Mountains has been a challenge in itself for us. Daria and I, both suffer a little from vertigo and such a passage high over the valley is not the easiest task for us. Anyway, after a 10-minute ride, we were more than compensated for what awaited us. The view from the top was amazing and we took a moment to enjoy it and take a few deep breaths – and, of course, take some photos. I think Daria should wear her red jacket more often now because it offers such a good contrast.

Despite surviving the way up, we decided to head back to Sinaia on foot…
