Ferrara, in Italy is a half renaissance half medieval Italian town. It’s mostly known for sights like Ferrara Cathedral, Palazzio del Diamanti, Castello Estense and Casa Romei. But if you’ve gotten off the beaten tourist path in downtown Ferrara, you’ll find such charming medieval streets as the one pictured here.

 Sightseeing in Ferrara

Nico and I both recall with a certain melancholy this walkthrough Ferrara on this summer, lazy Sunday afternoon. After capturing the main sights of this Italian town on photos, we gave ourselves time to wander around the centre without having any certain destination in mind. This type of walking is actually an integral part of sightseeing for us. Or even sometimes the main goal.
