Budapest panoramic view – along the Danube River in the autumn | Hungary

It was a challenge to photograph this Budapest panoramic view. We spent few days in this city in the late autumn. Unfortunately, the weather was unpleasant – it was cold and foggy, raining almost all the time. Anyway, we photographers are very patient people – we are able to endure even tough weather conditions in order to catch an impressive image, like this one.

Budapest – the capital of Hungary

I wasn’t surprised to learn that the central area of Budapest that is situated along the Danube River is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. There are many remarkable buildings there, such as the Hungarian Parliament (you can see it, glittering on the picture) or the Fisherman’s Bastion. Another golden point which you can see in this photo is Saint Stephen Basilica.

Photo shooting along the Danube River

Actually having foggy weather when you live along the Danube River, especially in the autumn, is something usual. However, it’s also a chance for photographers to capture the melancholic charm of the cities, situated in such places.

Since I managed to photograph an autumn Budapest panoramic view, I would very much like to go back to this city, probably in the summer. At that time the capital of Hungary would be all in green and would (hopefully!) reveal its sunny side to me.
