How often did I walk by those two houses and how often did I think “Hey man, somehow you must compose a good shot with them”. And yet, the results so far never matched my expectations. But then it happened one evening last winter: Snow!
The snow made the photo perfect
It was snowing for 3-4 hours all afternoon. But better yet: Then it stopped. What’s better than going out into the first snow of the year? Without any footprints, any contact to other human beings, being the first to step into the snow? And that way I finally managed to capture the scene in a way that the photo lives up to my expectations regarding the display of the illumination of the houses.
