St Nicholas Cathedral from Karmelitska Street | Prague, Czech Republic

The beautiful thing about Prague is that every single corner can be awesome.

Unfortunately we had clear blue sky when we walked through the city; not what you wish for when you take out your camera. So I tried to play a bit with the light and my girlfriend thought this one would be a nice shot. In the background you see the St Nicholas Cathedral (Kostel svatého Mikuláše) and the big street is called Karmelitska. But if you’ve ever been in Prague, you know how busy that street is.

It took something like 15 minutes of waiting to get this shot without cars/ trams/ tourist groups/… crossing the scene. But it was worth it. While we waited, we used the time to figure out from where to have the best view for the golden hour and made further planning.
