Stadsfotografie tijdens de kerstdagen is zowel een zegen als een vloek. Het voordeel: je komt veel prachtige kerstversieringen tegen die je foto\u2019s een mooie en unieke uitstraling geven. Het nadeel: grote pleinen zijn vaak ontoegankelijk vanwege tijdelijke kerstmarkten. Beide waren het geval bij het Oude Stadhuis in Leipzig,<\/a> een verborgen parel en een ondergewaardeerde Europese stad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Op 29 december was de kerstmarkt van Leipzig al gesloten. Overal om me heen reden vrachtwagens die de marktkraampjes wegvoerden. Maar ik had maar \u00e9\u00e9n ochtend in het centrum, dus hoe kon ik daar het beste van maken?<\/p>\n

Tijd om creatief te worden. Ik hou van een uitdaging, en ik ga echt niet naar huis zonder een van de meest iconische gebouwen van Leipzig vast te leggen. Ik liep er twee keer omheen, op zoek naar composities. Om de unieke architectuur van het Oude Stadhuis vast te leggen zonder alle drukte van de sluiting van de markt.<\/p>\n

Voor het metrostation "Markt" vond ik wat ik zocht. De camera laag genoeg en in de juiste hoek opstellen. Wachten tot de vrachtwagen voorbij is. De voetganger laten verdwijnen. Druk op de sluiter. Wachten. Vloeken op de vrachtwagen die door mijn opname reed. Nog een keer op de sluiter drukken. Daar gaan we! Mijn foto van het Oude Stadhuis in het centrum van Leipzig.<\/p>\n

Trouwens, het viel me op dat de ingang van het metrostation ook best mooi was. En er stond "Untergrundmesshalle" op geschreven. Blijkbaar was hier ooit 's werelds eerste ondergrondse beurs<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
