Met deze foto van de Malche in Tegel: van harte gefeliciteerd met mijn verjaardag!<\/p>\n

Om mijn 35e verjaardag te vieren, heb ik een foto gekozen van deze boom die me zo dierbaar is. Zoals je misschien weet, ben ik opgegroeid in de buurt van het Tegelmere<\/a> in het noorden van Berlijn<\/a>. Tot december 2022 had ik altijd een thuis in Tegel, of ik nu in Frankfurt<\/a>, Praag of Lissabon<\/a> woonde.<\/p>\n

Het noordelijkste deel van het meer heet "Gro\u00dfer Malchsee" of in de volksmond "Malche". Hier hadden we onze kleine zeilboot en hier ging ik vaak wandelen. Het is er rondom zo'n dicht bos dat je niet zou geloven dat je nog steeds in de Duitse hoofdstad bent.<\/p>\n

Deze specifieke boom heeft me altijd gefascineerd omdat hij bijna horizontaal in de richting van het meer groeide.<\/p>\n

Maar het is een andere boom in de buurt die alle aandacht van de regio trekt. De "Dicke Marie" is mogelijk de oudste boom in Berlijn en heeft zijn naam gekregen van de gebroeders Humboldt. Dicke Marie zou Goethe schaduw hebben geboden toen hij in 1778 Berlijn bezocht.<\/p>\n

Toch is voor mij deze naamloze boom die je op de foto van de Malche ziet de belangrijkste. Als ik ernaar kijk, herinner ik me hoe mijn hond altijd in het water sprong en heen en weer zwom. Voor mij heeft deze boom een soort magische energie. Als je hem ooit wilt zoeken, vind je hem vlakbij het "Malche Restaurant am See<\/a>".<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
