Toen we in 2016 onze huwelijksreis doorbrachten op het eiland Langkawi<\/a>, hebben we niet veel gehad aan het geweldige resort waar we verbleven<\/a>. Toen we in 2022 terugkwamen, hebben we dat eindelijk goedgemaakt en hebben we een mangrovetour gemaakt in het Kilim Geoforest Park.<\/p>\n

Het Kilim Geoforest Park in Langkawi, Maleisi\u00eb, is een paradijs voor natuurliefhebbers. Dit prachtige park bestaat uit mangrovemoerassen, kalkstenen kliffen en ongerepte stranden, waardoor het een perfecte bestemming is om de natuur te verkennen. Geen wonder dat UNESCO het op de Werelderfgoedlijst<\/a> heeft gezet.<\/p>\n

We hadden het geluk om niet alleen veel apen aan de rivieroevers te zien, maar ook een ijsvogel en adelaars die boven ons vlogen. Mijn favoriete moment was echter toen we de mangrove verlieten en het diepere water op gingen. Precies bij de overgang nam ik deze foto. Onze tour vond plaats met twee boten, dus ik had het geluk dat de andere boot precies in beeld kwam. Met het logo van het "Kilim Geoforest Park" als centraal element.<\/p>\n

Net toen ik dat deed, merkte ik dat mijn mobiele netwerk overschakelde van Maleisi\u00eb naar Thailand. Blijkbaar waren we zo dicht bij Thailand geweest \u2013 maar weer eens hebben we het niet van onze bucketlist kunnen afstrepen.<\/p>\n

In plaats daarvan keerden we terug naar een beeldschoon wit zandstrand. Daar dronken we een mocktail en vierden we een goed bestede dag in het mangrovebos. Ik raad het je van harte aan!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
