De golven<\/a> in Nazar\u00e9 zijn waarschijnlijk over de hele wereld bekend. En als je ze nog niet hebt gezien, beste lezer, dan is het hoog tijd om kennis te maken met dit fenomeen in Portugal.<\/p>\n

De gigantische golven in Nazar\u00e9<\/a> in Portugal behoren tot de grootste ter wereld. Tijdens het seizoen kunnen ze wel 30 meter hoog worden. Geen wonder dat ze surfers van over de hele wereld aantrekken. Juist in Nazar\u00e9 werd het Guinness-record voor het surfen op de hoogste golven verbroken. Het record werd gevestigd door de Braziliaanse surfer Rodrigo Kox \u2013 de golfhoogte bedroeg 24,4 m (80 ft).<\/p>\n
