Het is meer dan 1700 jaar geleden gebouwd en is een van de oudste en meest waardevolle overblijfselen uit de Romeinse tijd. Het paleis, gemaakt van marmer en kalksteen, straalt op een unieke en bijzondere manier in het maanlicht. Dit tafereel, samen met de heldere nachtelijke hemel en een miljoen fonkelende sterren, was het perfecte plaatje dat erop wachtte om vastgelegd te worden.<\/p><p>Het paleiscomplex van bijna 30.000 vierkante meter heeft veel meer te bieden dan je op het eerste gezicht zou denken, want het bestaat niet alleen uit de indrukwekkende ru\u00efnes, maar ook uit een enorm keldersysteem dat dateert uit de 4e eeuw. We hadden enorm veel geluk en mochten de <a href=\"\/?p=1852\">historische muren<\/a> verkennen tijdens een heel bijzonder evenement: een wijnproeverij! Elk jaar in mei kun je in de kelder van het paleis de beste wijnen van <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/category\/hdr-photos\/croatia\/\">Kroati\u00eb<\/a> proeven.
