Bamberg is een stad met een rijke geschiedenis, en nergens is dat zo duidelijk te zien als in de charmante oude binnenstad. De kronkelende straatjes, vakwerkhuizen en historische gebouwen maken dit deel van de stad tot een absolute must voor iedereen die Bamberg in Duitsland<\/a> bezoekt. De oude binnenstad van Bamberg staat ook op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Een van de meest opvallende gebouwen in de oude binnenstad is het Oude Stadhuis.<\/a> Het Oude Stadhuis is gebouwd in de 15e eeuw en ligt midden in de rivier de Regnitz. Jarenlang markeerde het de grens tussen het kerkelijke, door de bisschop geleide Bamberg en het burgerlijke stadscentrum.<\/p>\n

Tegen alle verwachtingen in heeft het Oude Stadhuis eeuwenlang standgehouden zonder verwoest te worden door oorlog of andere rampen. De enige echte bedreiging voor het gebouw kwam van de rivier zelf, die de structuur in de loop der jaren meerdere keren schade heeft toegebracht.<\/p>\n

Maar het Oude Stadhuis is slechts een van de vele historische gebouwen en bezienswaardigheden die je in de oude binnenstad van Bamberg kunt vinden. Van de prachtige kathedraal van Bamberg tot de schilderachtige huisjes langs de kronkelende straatjes: er is genoeg te zien en te ontdekken in dit deel van de stad.<\/p>\n

Al met al is de oude binnenstad van Bamberg een echte parel en een must voor iedereen die ge\u00efnteresseerd is in geschiedenis, architectuur of gewoon lekker wil ronddwalen door charmante, pittoreske straatjes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Het werd in de 15e eeuw midden in de rivier de Regnitz gebouwd en markeerde lange tijd de grens tussen het klerikale, bisschoppelijk geleide Bamberg en de burgerlijke binnenstad.
