Het Canal Grande is de levensader van Veneti\u00eb<\/a>, een kronkelende waterweg die zich een weg baant door het hart van de stad. Het Canal Grande begint bij het treinstation en stroomt in een sierlijke S-bocht zuidwaarts richting het San Marcoplein<\/a>. Het is de perfecte manier om de schoonheid en magie van Veneti\u00eb in Itali\u00eb<\/a> te beleven.<\/p>\n

Een van de beste manieren om het Canal Grande te verkennen is met een taxi, een van de beroemde gondels<\/a> of een 'bus', die je een uniek perspectief biedt op de prachtige architectuur en historische bezienswaardigheden van de stad. Of je nu alleen reist of met een groep, een taxirit over het Canal Grande is een ervaring die je niet snel zult vergeten. De 'bus'-tour duurt ongeveer een uur voor de rit van 4 km.<\/p>\n

Onderweg kom je langs enkele van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Veneti\u00eb. Je vaart onder de Rialtobrug<\/a> door en de tocht omvat ook de Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, een prachtige barokke kerk die een van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van de stad is. Met zijn opvallende koepel en sierlijke gevel is de basiliek een waar meesterwerk van Venetiaanse architectuur en een must-see voor iedereen die de stad bezoekt.<\/p>\n
