De Sint-Sebastiaanskerk (ook wel Sebastianskirche genoemd) in de Berlijnse<\/a> wijk Gesundbrunnen is aan het einde van de 19e eeuw gebouwd. Het was eigenlijk puur toeval dat we erlangs kwamen, maar de kerk was een perfect onderwerp om mijn nieuwste speeltje uit te proberen.<\/p>\n

Vooral als ik op reis ben, heb ik overdag vaak veel tijd om foto\u2019s te maken. Het licht rond het middaguur is echter vaak saai, dus besloot ik een grijsfilter aan te schaffen om het wat spannender te maken. Met de ND1000 van Haida kan ik de belichtingstijd met een factor 1000 verlengen. In plaats van 1\/30 seconde zou de belichtingstijd met het filter 34 seconden zijn.<\/p>\n

Door de langere belichtingstijd krijg je het effect dat je aan de lucht kunt zien. Terwijl St. Sebastian een rustig middelpunt vormt op de foto, zorgen de wolken voor een dynamische laag. Het is dezelfde techniek die ik later heb gebruikt bij mijn lange belichting van de Potsdamer Platz<\/a>.<\/p>\n
