Met zoveel goede flessen wijn en kaas is het heel moeilijk om ook maar \u00e9\u00e9n dag door te komen zonder er een te proeven, of nog beter: de combinatie van beide\u2026<\/p>\n<h2>Vinho Verde<\/h2>\n<p>Laten we beginnen met de kaas\u2026 Queijo de Azeit\u00e3o. Dit werd al snel onze favoriete avondsnack. We hebben het in geen enkel ander land dan Portugal gezien, ook al werd het volgens de Great Taste Awards uitgeroepen tot een van de 50 beste gastronomische producten ter wereld. Hoewel het onze favoriete kaas is geworden, was het begin van deze relatie eerlijk gezegd nogal hobbelig. Toen we hem voor het eerst in de supermarkt zagen, vroegen we ons af waarom de bovenkant niet bedekt was met een verpakking (iedereen kon hem aanraken). Toch besloten we hem een kans te geven en namen we hem mee naar huis, waar we hem helemaal opaten\u2026 Een paar dagen later nam onze Portugese vriend ons mee uit eten en bestelde hij Queijo de Azeit\u00e3o als voorgerecht. Tot onze verbazing sneed hij de bovenkant van de kaas af, waarna hij ons lepels gaf om de kaas van binnenuit te scheppen. Op dat moment voelden Nico en ik dat we nog veel te leren hadden over Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>En de wijn! Vinho Verde is nog een reden waarom we altijd graag terugkeren naar Portugal. Letterlijk vertaald betekent Vinho Verde \u201cgroene wijn\u201d. Let wel: dit heeft niets te maken met de kleur van deze drank. Die uitdrukking betekent dat de wijn jong is. De Vinho Verde komt 3 tot 6 maanden na de druivenoogst op de markt. Hierdoor is de wijn vrij zacht van smaak, bevat hij minder alcohol en is hij een beetje mousserend. Absoluut perfect voor een winterdag waarop de temperatuur oploopt tot wel 20 graden.<\/p>\n<p>Leef, ga niet dood! Zeker niet door leverfalen\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We raden je ook aan om restaurant &quot;Cantina&quot; te bezoeken als je bij <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/nl\/fotos\/portugal-nl\/lissabon-nl\/lx-factory-cantina\/\">LX Factory<\/a> bent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lissabonse lekkernijen testen altijd de gezondheid van ons lichaam &#8211; in het bijzonder onze lever.
