Ze staat afgelegen aan de voet van de Alpen en staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst <a href=\"\/?project_tag=unesco\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">van UNESCO<\/a> \u2013 en dat vond ik juist zo leuk: ze heeft een rijke geschiedenis, maar is nog niet ontdekt door fotografen.<\/p><p>Tijdens onze roadtrip door <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/travel\/germany\/bavaria\/\">Beieren<\/a><\/em> en <em>Itali\u00eb<\/em> hebben we <em>de Wieskirche<\/em> bezocht op weg naar <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/category\/hdr-photos\/germany\/schwangau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Schwangau<\/em><\/a>. Ik wilde deze kerk eerst van buitenaf fotograferen, met de majestueuze Alpen op de achtergrond. Toen we er aankwamen, vonden we het toch beter om te wachten op het zachtere licht van de middagzon. We hebben toen wat rond de kerk gewandeld (er liepen zelfs kippen op de paden) en zijn uiteindelijk naar binnen gegaan.<\/p><p>Wat ik daarbinnen zag, was betoverend\u2026<\/p><p>Het interieur en het plafond waren totaal anders dan ik van een typische kerk had verwacht. Er waren heldere en rijke kleuren, die je helemaal in hun ban hielden. Het was niet zomaar rococo; de kunstenaars die de beelden en schilderijen hadden gemaakt, behoorden tot de 18e-eeuwse <em>Wessobrunn-school<\/em>. Hun werk was erop gericht het goddelijke in een natuurlijke vorm weer te geven.
