Vanaf het Walhalla-monument strekt het uitzicht zich uit over het Donaudal in Duitsland<\/a>, waarbij de rivier en het omringende Beierse landschap zich tot ver in de verte uitstrekken.<\/p>

Dit fantastische uitzicht over de Donau verdient het om de afsluiting te zijn van deze driedelige serie over het Walhalla-monument. Het is zo\u2019n plek waar geschiedenis en landschap elkaar op een bijna onbeschrijfelijke manier ontmoeten. Toch ga ik het proberen!<\/p>

Een onvergetelijk uitzicht over de Donau<\/h2>

Als je op het marmeren terras staat, strekt het uitzicht op de Donau zich voor je uit, omlijst door lagen groene velden, groepjes bomen en zelfs dorpen in de verte aan de Beierse horizon. Het uitzicht vanaf het Walhalla-monument<\/a> voelt weids aan, als een welverdiende frisse lucht na het beklimmen van de trap.<\/p>

Het uitzicht op de Donau staat centraal, maar dan op een nogal plechtige manier. Bij bepaald licht kan de rivier de wolken weerspiegelen als een spiegel, en dat voelt als de finishing touch voor de toch al prachtige Walhalla-tempel en het omringende landschap.<\/p>

Tegelijkertijd onderbreken de zuilen van de tempel op subtiele wijze het uitzicht vanaf het Walhalla-monument, waardoor het in segmenten wordt opgedeeld, en dat is een van de dingen die het uitzichtpunt van Walhalla zo adembenemend maken.<\/p>

Houd er rekening mee dat het verkennen van het Walhalla-monument en het uitkijkpunt gratis is, maar dat er een kleine vergoeding wordt gevraagd als je het Walhalla-interieur<\/a> wilt betreden en de honderden marmeren bustes wilt bewonderen, wat ik zeker aanraad als je van geschiedenis houdt.<\/p>

Het vastleggen van het verstrijken van de tijd<\/h2>

Ik vind deze zuilen bijzonder indrukwekkend omdat ze enerzijds de verfijning hebben van klassieke Griekse tempelzuilen, maar anderzijds door de tand des tijds zo zijn gevormd dat ze er bijna ruig uitzien. Ik vind dat contrast erg interessant, en het past eigenlijk wel bij de donkere, dreigende lucht die we die dag hadden.<\/p>

Ik denk dat je op dit soort plekken elk weertype in je voordeel kunt gebruiken. Als de zon ondergaat, maak dan gebruik van het gouden licht. Als het stormt, zorgen de lucht en de zuilen echt voor een filmisch effect. En als het een zonnige dag is, komt het groen eromheen tot leven en laat het monument goed uitkomen.<\/p>

Je ziet misschien ook deze witte lijn op de grond. Die is aangebracht om te voorkomen dat mensen te dicht bij de rand komen en mogelijk vallen. In allerlei talen staat er "Niet overschrijden". Helaas is er toch iemand overheen gegaan.<\/p>

Ik weet niet hoe de plek er vandaag de dag uitziet of dat het uitzicht volledig is verpest door overal hekken te plaatsen. Ik hoop van niet, want dat zou naar mijn mening het uitzicht vanaf het Walhalla-monument echt schaden.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
