Zo kwam ik bij <strong data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1026\">de Kallithea-bronnen<\/strong> terecht \u2013 een cultureel monument dat geschiedenis, architectuur en een rustige sfeer aan zee op prachtige wijze combineert.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1179\">Eerste indrukken<\/h2><p data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1483\">De plek viel meteen op door de binnenplaatsen met moza\u00efek, de palmbomen en het iconische koepelgebouw met uitzicht op zee. In tegenstelling tot de drukke stranden van Rhodos voelde deze plek heel rustig aan. Misschien kwam dat doordat ik er net voor het hoogseizoen was, toen het eiland nog niet vol zat met toeristen.<\/p><p data-start=\"1485\" data-end=\"1831\">Je betaalt een kleine toegangsprijs, maar eenmaal binnen kun je de bronnen verkennen, lekker relaxen op het strand en zwemmen in het kristalheldere water. Voor bezoekers die nieuwsgierig zijn naar het fascinerende verleden van deze plek \u2013 van het gebruik in de oudheid tot de heropleving als kuuroord tijdens de Italiaanse periode \u2013 raad ik aan om <a href=\"https:\/\/kallitheasprings.com\/history\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1828\">hier<\/a> de <a href=\"https:\/\/kallitheasprings.com\/history\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1828\">volledige geschiedenis van de Kallithea-bronnen<\/a> te lezen.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1869\">Fotograferen bij de Kallithea-bronnen<\/h2><p data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"2104\">Ik benaderde de locatie met het oog op fotografie. Vanaf een hoger uitkijkpunt stelde ik een foto samen die niet alleen de hoofdkoepel vastlegde, maar ook de zwart-witte moza\u00efeken die het bouwwerk omlijsten, met in de achtergrond een glimp van de Ege\u00efsche Zee.<\/p><ul data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2185\"><li data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2136\"><p data-start=\"2108\" data-end=\"2136\"><strong data-start=\"2108\" data-end=\"2118\">Camera<\/strong>: Sony ILCE-7Rm5<\/p><\/li><\/ul><li data-start=\"2137\" data-end=\"2185\"><p data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2185\"><strong data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2151\">Instellingen<\/strong>: f\/10, 1\/320 sec, ISO 100, brandpuntsafstand 13 mm<\/p><\/li><p><a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Kallithea-Springs-inside.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Kallithea-Springs-inside.jpg\" alt=\"Interior of Kallithea Springs dome in Rhodes with sunlight creating a central sun star.\" width=\"502\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p><p data-start=\"2187\" data-end=\"2552\">Toen ik naar binnen ging, werd ik beloond met zo\u2019n vluchtig moment waar fotografen van dromen. De zon scheen precies door de kleine diamant- en stervormige ramen van de koepel en cre\u00eberde een <strong data-start=\"2366\" data-end=\"2378\">zonnestraal<\/strong> precies in het midden van de compositie. Het duurde maar een paar seconden \u2013 net lang genoeg om van lens te wisselen en op de sluiterknop te drukken.<\/p><p data-start=\"2595\" data-end=\"2814\">Kallithea Springs was niet zomaar een tussenstop tijdens een roadtrip. Voor mij werd het een herinnering aan hoe fotografie ons helpt om vluchtige momenten vast te leggen. Zoals een zonnestraal die precies de perfecte hoek vindt door een historische koepel.<\/p><p data-start=\"2816\" data-end=\"3118\">Als je een fotoreis naar Griekenland plant, overweeg dan eens om <strong data-start=\"2881\" data-end=\"2902\">de Kallithea-bronnen<\/strong> aan je reisplan voor Rhodos toe te voegen.
