De Franse Kathedraal (Französischer Dom) is een van de drie gebouwen op de Gendarmenmarkt en staat tegenover de Duitse Kathedraal (Deutscher Dom). Het werd gebouwd door de Hugenoten gemeenschap vroeg in de 18de eeuw en is het oudste gebouw op het plein. De andere kathedraal werd tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog verwoest en na de Duitse hereniging herbouwd, aangezien het plein in het oostelijke deel van Berlijn ligt.
