Questa bellezza ha più di 100 anni. Fu costruita ad Amburgo nel 1909 e chiamata Prinzess Eitel Friedrich. Dopo la prima guerra mondiale, la nave fu presa come riparazione dalla Gran Bretagna e portata in Francia. In Francia non volevano ristrutturarla e decisero di vendere la Colbert, come la nave fu chiamata in quel momento.
L’acquirente fu la Polonia e lì la nave fu rinominata di nuovo, questa volta in Dar Pomorza. Per molti anni la Dar Pomorza fu usata come nave da addestramento e oggi la si può ancora vedere nel porto di Gdynia dove serve come nave museo.
